We are a digital imaging and graphics design company specializing in wedding coverage.

For our photo coverage, we use the Nikon line of digital SLR cameras with a minimum resolution of 6.1 mega-pixels as our standard. The high resolution capture produces sharp images even at enlargements of up to 14”x20”, suitable for application in most wedding albums. We also use Nikon’s famed Creative Lighting System (CLS) for lighting that looks more natural. This results in flattering skin tones, softer shadows, clearer details and overall stunning wedding day portraits.

The Viscom office is all of 64 square meters, a major portion of which is allocated for the studio. For studio lighting, we use continuous, white-balanced, metal halide studio lamps. This eliminates much of the guesswork in terms of exposure settings and placement of shadows, complementing the “instant feedback” feature of digital photography. We also have a variety of “backgrounds” to suit most photographic requirements.

Wedding photography is our main line of service. However, photo and video packages are available to clients who want to reduce the number of suppliers they have to deal with for their wedding needs.

Since we have fully-equipped studio facilities, we are also able to accept portrait, glamour, and product photography. Furthermore, our graphics capabilities are not limited to laying out wedding albums but extends to creating identity and visual communication materials (brochures, posters, tarpaulin ads, etc.) for business applications.

I have always been at awe with how photography lets you freeze a moment and create a lasting memory out of it. Each circumstance captured in a photograph represents a unique spot in the continuum of time. Each photograph defies the fleeting nature of time.
In my last year in college, I joined an amateur photo contest sponsored by the Philippine Commission on Human Rights. Using an SLR borrowed from a friend (and now business partner) Boiet Collado, I won first prize in both the black-and-white and color categories, besting hundreds of entries. I knew at that instant that I wanted to take up photography as a hobby. Hence, from the cash prize, I bought my first SLR camera and shot away a huge chunk of my salary from my first year of employment. 17 years have passed since I held my first SLR, yet my fascination with photography remains.

Because of my passion for photography, I have made the decision to retire from my job of 14 years at a broadcasting company in order to pursue a new career as a photographer. I couldn’t be any happier with my choice.

But why specialize in wedding photography? A friend advised me a few months before my wedding, “Pick a good wedding photographer. Marriage is tough. And, when things aren’t going well between you and your wife, look through your wedding album and somehow, things will be better.” With God’s grace, my wife and I haven’t reached the point when we have to resort to looking at our wedding album to make things better, but we have never gotten tired of looking at the photographs of that special day nonetheless. Yes, wedding photography is a business. And if there is any money to be made here, it will probably not be as much compared with other fields of photography, especially when you consider the scope of coverage and the effort that goes into it. But I am a romantic at heart, and to me, there is nothing more fulfilling than to capture for posterity the memories of a day when two hearts become one.

Photography, like any other art form, is all about self-expression. I, and my fellow senior photographer, believe that each photograph is an extension of oneself. It is therefore imperative that either of us (if not both of us) is present at each wedding to take pictures. Hence, we will accept only one or two wedding assignments a day. This is our way of assuring our clients that their wedding photos will have the same style and quality as those they see in our samples.
