THE HISTORY

The Incorporators of Okasyon et al. have known each other for several years already.  Individually, they have been known among their relatives and own groups of friends as planners of activities.  They have organized and conducted all sorts of events for the family, school, organizations, and even at work.  In August 2004, these women together formed a group called “Of Hearts and Sabers”, where they could share and maximize individual talents and skills in coordinating weddings, especially military weddings – military being a common denominator in their lives.  The name later on evolved to Okasyon et al., and expanded the range of events they could cater to.  A Filipino events management and coordination company, Okasyon et al. became formally registered as an incorporation at the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in Metro Manila on 06 April 2005.

THE SERVICES:

1. Full Coordination (Okasyong Engrande), Semi-Full or Turnover Coordination (Okasyong Elegante), and On-the-Day Coordination (Okasyong Espesyal) of Weddings and Other Parties (such as debuts, anniversaries, baptismal, birthdays, etc.)
2. Full Coordination (Okasyong Engrande) and On-the-Day Coordination (Okasyong Espesyal) of Corporate Affairs (company outings/parties, seminars/conferences, product launch, trade fairs, job fairs, etc.)
3. Events Consultation
4. Initiating the Organization of Environmental Conferences, Wedding Fairs, and others that Okasyon et al. see relevant in the society
5. Initiating Charity Events, like annual mass weddings for AFP enlisted personnel, Christmas parties for orphanages/street children, etc.

THE ORGANIZATION:

            The Events Team members of Okasyon et al. are bachelor and masters degree holders in the fields of Psychology, Law, IT, MIS, and Chemical Engineering from the University of the Philippines, Ateneo de Manila University, De La Salle University, Miriam College, St. Scholastica’s College, and Bond University.

            We offer coordination services for corporate events and social occasions. 

The members of the Team handle projects and activities of companies or groups, such as conferences, product launchings, organizational social events (i.e. corporate Christmas parties, school graduations, institutional/traditional events, and the like).  We research on issues and themes relevant in the Philippine society to come up with an event that is extraordinarily different.  We make use of our acquired knowledge and skills in continuing and in enhancing annual activities of various organizations, which would make such activities more worthwhile.

Moreover, we assist individuals and families in managing and coordinating weddings, debut and anniversary celebrations, birthday parties, and other special occasions.  Our team adapts new trends happening in the society and, at the same time, creates our own style in putting together very enchanting events.  We relieve people of the stress in organizing parties -- letting them enjoy their own celebrations, and knowing that their wants and needs in such events are met.
