Saturday Night Project is an Urban Acoustic Band Trio brought together for their common passion for music.  As the name implies, this group was accidentally formed as a project band for a school activity. On the night they performed, the group showed their prowess in delivering smooth musical rhythms. Their performance received overwhelming positive compliments from the crowd. That started it all.
Saturday Night Project’s heart is influenced by unplugged acoustic music of Soul, Rhythm and Blues, Jazz, Alternative, and your all time favorite love songs. Artists such as D Sound, STING, Nora Jones, Beatles, and Side A are just a few of the band’s favorites.

Their music remains soulful throughout because of the remarkable beauty and finesse of the musical artists behind this group.

Kathy loves performing on stage and just being around people. Singing sweet & meaningful love songs, jazz, ballads, rhythm & blues and soul, she captivates audiences of various ages, owning and giving life to any song. She does professional singing as a hobby. In the corporate scene, Kathy is a Manager at the Media Asset Management Division of ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corporation.

Raymond is a total performer who can sweep you off your feet as he performs with his best buddy, his guitar and his enchanting voice. Don’t be deceived by his quiet demeanor as this man of few words can send you laughing through his witty antics. He learns new songs really fast as this is his greatest passion, the language of his soul. He is eclectic in his choice of music as he is open to any genre. A true blue music lover.

Paolo is an eclectic in his choice of music as he has been part of an alternative band, a full band doing variety music and and is currently in love with acoustic. He can play the guitar too. His excellent pulse in percussion instruments can send any audience dancing on his feet. And yes, he composes too.   

When joined together, the three exhibit excellent stage presence, expressing smooth rhythms, and soft but tight acoustic sound.

Saturday Night Project has performs at various venues like Fat Johnny’s, Sitio Diego, Kapalua in Baywalk,  Niche, Inno, MIP Grill, Memories in the Making, Janero, Grill 77, Voda Bar and Solas at Sgt. Esguerra, Sharky’s and Off the Grill in Timog, Lazzo Bar in Quezon Ave. They had stints at Boom na Boom, and Marj’s Bar, Isabela. They also perform at weddings, parties, and other social gatherings.
