Points to consider in choosing your Photographer


         If you are seeking for a wedding photographer over the internet, you will notice that
photographers have different ways of presenting their photography studios. Many will show
you their best wedding shots while others present the technical detail of being a
professional wedding photographer as a marketing strategy.
         The next paragraphs will tell you what East Digital Studio has to offer. Observing
business ethics, we avoid comparing ourselves with other studios.


Industrial Business Operation
        If you visit East Digital Studio and her auxiliary offices, you will notice that the
company operates on a systematic industrial workflow. There are 7 major departments
namely – graphics, editing, studio, Storage, R and D, bindery, and quality control.

        Graphics - this is where the layout designs of the wedding pictures are being processed

        Editing - the edited copies of the wedding videos are being rendered here.

        Studio - this is where prenuptial pictorial is being shot.

        Storage - our photography equipments are safe kept and maintained here.

        R and D - our chromatic lighting system (we’ll discuss this later), simulated studio,
                           and wedding albums were developed here. Currently, we are
                           experimenting on the ”gyrocam” assembly, an accessory attached to the
                           video camera for a clean, steady shot while the videographer is in shaky
                           movement during wedding coverage.

        Bindery - this is where the wedding albums are made. Our bindery department
                           ensures fast delivery of the albums and photography products in top quality
                           condition.

        Quality Control – before handling over the photos and video materials to clients, a
                           repeated checkup and tests are undertaken in this department to ensure
                           best quality.


         East Digital Studio has endeavored extensively to come up with this world- class

Simulated Studio for Prenuptial Pictorial
        Three years ago, we used to conduct our prenuptial pictorial in strolling places in
the metropolis and nearby provinces. Sometimes in Tagaytay and sunny beaches along
the countryside. However, familiar problems arise each time. The makeup of the bride-to-
be flakes up under the heat of the sun and the poor couple has to deal with unwanted
sweat all over their faces and bodies. Worst, if it rains otherwise, the prenuptial pictorial
is doomed. Then, we have to reschedule the photo shoot. Here, erupts a
major problem when the couple has no more free time for the prenuptial pictorial before
the wedding or on the rescheduled date, the photographer is not available.
        Because of this repeated dilemma, our R and D department developed the
Simulated Studio. Here, we bring the outdoor scenario inside the studio. We invested a
lot for additional equipment and space for this purpose. But it’s worth the effort for we
have solved the outdoor pictorial crisis. What’s more, our simulated studio has brought
the following advantages:

                      1). the studio is fully - air conditioned
                      2). there are no strange people around, like those in outdoor pictorial, who may
                          make you uneasy with your poses.
                      3). dressing and make-up room – this is one great advantage of making the
                          prenuptial pictorial in our studio because you can bring your make up artist/
                          beautician for a trial makeup.


Discrete Customer Service
         If you are rushing to a hospital and saving a life of someone, you surely don’t want
to arrive at an empty emergency room. Or if you are hurrying up to the x-ray room, you
don’t want the x-ray technician to be not around and doing a different chore elsewhere.
Since fuel alone cannot make a fire, East Digital Studio has designated discrete personnel
to attend to clients’ different needs all the way to the “finish line.” For example, if you
come to inquire personally in our office, our marketing manager will attend to you.
Should you inquire from the internet, a different staff - our system administrator, will
answer your queries. During prenuptial pictorial, a different staff will organize the
materials you bring and process all pre-wedding transactions. Again, another staff wil
talk with you in the graphics department for the approval of guestbook layout, album
design, album cover, etc. In the editing department, still another staff will speak with you
for the approval of avp, about songs for the video, etc. On the prenuptial photo shoot
another staff will take your pictures. And on that grand day of your wedding, a separate
entity will come to you.


Bench-Marked Templates
         During that old outdoor pictorial era we had three years ago, we used to tell our
clients that the prenuptial photo shoot has two major purposes. One, the pictures will be
use for guestbook, sign frame, welcome tarpaulin, invitations, etc. Two, it will make the
couple get used to the poses directed by the photographer and develop rapport between
them . The first purpose is necessary but the latter is rather circumstantial. Your wedding
day is still far away - sometimes 6 months or even a year away. Anything can happen to
the photographer between the prenuptial pictorial and wedding day period. Will the
photographer be in good health on your wedding day? Will he still be alive? Will he still
be in the studio and have not resigned? There is no assurance that the same prenuptial
photographer will be on your wedding day. Besides, the bride will not make the same
wacky and hilarious prenuptial poses on her wedding day because she won’t be wearing
jeans and shirts but a gown on stiff petticoat instead. Familiarization to prenuptial poses
has no purpose then. It will be a whole new formal-leading .gesture.

         To avoid such unfavorable occurrence and not let you sign into a force majeure
agreement, senior photographers of East Digital Studio gathered their best prenuptial
poses and bride-and-groom wedding portraiture to become the bench-marked templates
of East Digital Studio’s 9 photographers to follow. Again, 9 photographers. If one
resigns, there will be 8 more to do the task. In this way, we won’t let you spin a roulette
but let you relax and select from a menu of the shots you want for your wedding.
