Find out what papers you need to prepare and submit to the church of your choice and the municipal/city hall...

Aren't they all the same? Well, some are and some are not that strict with paper work... some would ask for a cenomar and others dont  Smiley

You'll need a certified true copy of your Birth Certificate (for the 2 of you) -This document is issued by the National Statistics Office (NSO).

Prior to the release of your marriage licence, you have to attend pre-marital counseling and family planning seminar conducted by the Division of Maternal and Child Health at the Municipal/City Hall in the same municipality or city where the contracting parties applied for the marriage license.

after which a Certificate of Attendance will then be issued to you

churches are very strict when it comes to submission of legal documents and most often than not they require the couple or their relatives to submit it themselves.

the reason for this is that for them you should handle these documents with great importance. not because it gives you an identity but because they consider these as holy documents. falsifying these documents is a big no no and it will cause a big problem for you or your coordinator if they found out that your coordinator had something to do with the falsification. so dont be surprised also if your coordinators will request that you handle the processing of your church requirements.
